1. Operation: Bootcamp

Operation: Bootcamp is the best place to start if you have never fired a gun. It pairs two classic firearms, a 9mm semi-automatic pistol and a .38 Special revolver, with a range pass, all safety equipment, and a custom action video, so a first-time shooter learns the two most common handgun types in one session.

This is our entry-level package, and most first-timers book it. You do not need experience or your own firearm. A range officer teaches you safe handling, loading, grip, stance, and sight alignment before you fire a shot, then stays with you on the lane. The 20 rounds of 9mm and 12 rounds of .38 Special are an ideal amount to build confidence without overwhelming a new shooter.

Expect a relaxed, coached introduction rather than a rushed turn. By the end you will understand the difference between a semi-automatic and a revolver, and you will have a video of your session to share.
